Even though entering their first-ever continental adventure, Oliver Glasner's side are adapting very quickly. Without star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding result that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their next match against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure straight entry to the knockout stages, especially after a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a well-taken goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the visiting side.
